Gladstone Regional Libraries now has a Library of Things collection!

As a library member you can borrow items you may want to use at home for only a short period. It’s more economical and better for the environment than purchasing something you need to use once or twice.

Or borrow something to try it out before purchasing your own.

Our new collection contains kitchen and craft equipment but will be growing so be sure to check our catalogue for new additions.

You can browse the collection at Gladstone City Library or search in our online catalogue.

Need to pick it up or return to another branch?  That’s fine too!  Simply reserve an item the same as you do with books. We’ll deliver the item to your preferred branch (except The Precinct) for you to collect.

Items can be returned to any of our branches (except The Precinct) but only at our library desks, not in our after-hours chutes.

We have some craft moulds for candles or resin (shapes include flowers, hearts, rectangles, squares, and pillars) plus a selection of kitchen/cooking equipment.
