The Boyne Island Library is situated in the Boyne Tannum Community Centre. The precinct is made up of three buildings, each with a variety of rooms for hire.

 

Following major renovation works at both the Library and Castle Tower building in 2021, a Community Garden was created to compliment the seed library in the Boyne Library branch.

The Boyne Tannum Community Centre precinct is made up of the following three buildings:

The Community Centre containing:

  • The Library
  • Port Curtis Room
  • Mount Larcom Room
  • Kroombit Room

Castle Tower Building located behind the centre containing:

  • Two medium sized rooms
  • A medium sized room with playground
  • Small office/interview room

The Heron Room which is the old library building at the far end of the car park containing:

  • A large meeting room and kitchen

Access to the library is not permitted outside normal library hours.
