Meeting Rooms for Hire
A full list of venues is available on the Gladstone Regional Council website’s Facilities Bookings page.
Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting Council’s Facilities Bookings Officer on 07 4970 0700 or by emailing info@gladstone.qld.gov.au
Below is a list of the rooms for hire that are located at or near some of our library branches. Contact the Facilities Officer (as above) for any enquiries or bookings. Please note: a meeting room booking does not provide access to a library outside its operating hours.
Boyne Tannum Community Centre
The Boyne Tannum Community Centre precinct is made up of the following three buildings and contains several rooms for hire:
The Community Centre (where the library is located):
- Port Curtis Room
- Mount Larcom Room
- Kroombit Room
Castle Tower Building (behind the Community Centre):
- Two medium sized rooms
- A medium sized room with playground
- Small office/interview room
The Heron Room located at the far end of the car park containing a large sized room and kitchen.
Calliope Library & Transaction Centre
Calliope Library & Transaction Centre has two main rooms for hire:
- A medium sized room
- A large function room with commercial kitchen
Gladstone City Library
The Gladstone City Library has a medium sized room with kitchenette available for hire.
The library car park is accessible from Central Lane and has 3-hour parking limits during library open hours.
