Agnes Water Library is situated in the same building as the Council’s Rural Transaction Centre at 71 Springs Road. Our library has a variety of resources for all ages including books, DVDs, CDs, and magazines.
Agnes Water Library has free Wi-Fi and internet computers for you to use and printing/copying are available for a small fee per page. We provide Homework Help by way of free black and white printing and photocopying for homework and assignments. The school student must be present and have a copy of their homework/assignment sheet.
We also have a Seed Library for you to “borrow” free seeds to grow your own fruit, vegetables, or flowers! Click here for details about the Gladstone Regional Libraries Seed Library
The Croft and The Deck
At Agnes Water Library we have an outside working area called The Croft. Here you’ll find comfortable outdoor furniture, power points, Wi-Fi access and often a pleasant breeze! It’s a great spot to escape the noise of the library or to hang out while the library is closed between noon and 1 pm. The Croft is situated between the library and the community centre and features a wonderful mural, which was created during SunFest.
If you enjoy outdoor spaces we also have The Deck, that opens from the children’s area, and includes bench seating and Wi-Fi access.
During school terms we provide programs every week for children 5 and under (click here for details about First 5 Forever programs at our other branches). Our school holiday programs provide a variety of activities for school-age children.
