Library Out & About

Our Library Out and About service will resume in June 2020

Library Out and About Service

The Library Out and About van visits the Baffle Creek are and Boyne Valley once a fortnight. Wartburg, Rosedale, and Lowmead are visited on Mondays, and Nagoorin and Builyan on Wednesdays (see the schedules below for dates and times).

You can use your library card (click here to access our online catalogue) at any of our six library branches and Library Out and About.

Joining our libraries is free for Queensland residents and you can borrow or return items at any branch of Gladstone Regional Libraries, even if you borrow from the Library Out and About van.

Library Out and About has a small collection of fiction and non-fiction books for adults, teens, and children; as well as large print collections, picture books, magazines, CDs, audio books, and DVDs. Up to twenty items of any type can be borrowed for a three week period. Library members can reserve an item from any of our libraries for free and borrow it from their chosen library, including the Library Out and About van!

Our eLibrary, available 24/7 and free with your library card, includes: eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, streaming films, and eLearning resources.
